The historic Victoria Clipper began its service on July 1, 1986, and with the addition of the Victoria Clipper V, have since carried passengers from Pier 69 to Vancouver Island in vintage style. As the Clipper sails down the Strait of Juan De Fuca, keep your eyes and cameras ready for the beautiful marine life visible from the ship! A little under three hours later, and the sunny coasts of Vancouver Island are the gateways to good times.
Spend your day exploring local favorites such as the world-renowed Butchart Gardens, the quarry rehabilitation project turned travel destination, created by Jenny Butchart in 1901. Another not-so-hidden gem is attending tea at the Fairmont Empress; with a range of teas and specialty delights, guests can experience royal treatment in the newly renovated Lobby Lounge. Lastly, the Royal BC Museum has opened their latest exhibit, “Wildlife Photographer of the Year”, only open for a limited time so get your tickets now.
