Issaquah’s Hillside Cemetery has been used to bury thousands of Washingtonians from as early as 1890. Originally used by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Hillside has become the final resting place for nearly 4,000 people. Museum Director Erica Maniez leads a small tour of these hallowed grounds each year. Soak up stories about the people buried in the cemetery, and learn what life looked like in the area in the1900s.
